Fresh Snowfall in Shimla and around has again put the city under chill winds after pleasant sunshine for few days. City witnessed moderate rainfall & snow on late Friday afternoon on 3 February 2012.  The maximum temperature in Shimla recorded a minimum temperature of 5.5 degree on Friday.

This change in weather is because of western disturbance & it may cause more snowfall. This western disturbance has started from Friday 3rd Feb 2012 and coming days will witness more snowfall & city may have too face rainfall as well.

The higher hills in Kullu & Chamba also faced abstinent snowfall in 2 days & may deponent dense snowfall in coming days. Some other utmost hilly areas like Spiti & Keylong recorded minimum temperature of -7 degree Celsius. The city also entered 3 inches of fresh snow. Kinnaur also faced 6.3 centimeters of snow. The temperature was -1.2 degree Celsius.
